How long have you been a bartender + How long at Tookie’s Burgers: I have been at Tookie’s for almost a year and just recently became a bartender.

What do you love about working at Tookie’s? All the employees have been working together for 2-plus years; everyone is really close.

What is YOUR favorite day of the week to work at Tookie’s & why? Tuesdays are fun because we have Texas Tuesday specials, so  many of our regulars come in.

Top 3 drinks you recommend to customers at Tookie’s: Tookie’s Mary, Category 4 and Adios Seabrook!

Top 3 dishes you recommend to customers at Tookie’s? Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with pepper jack cheese, Squealer all the way, and the BBQ Burger with Bacon, and, of course, it’s not complete without Onion Rings!

Your signature drink:  You can never go wrong with our refreshing fruit Mojitos.

Are there any new drinks or promotions you’re excited about? Our bar manager has created an amazing breakfast drink menu and has added delicious cocktails to our lunch and dinner menu. There is something for everyone!

What do you do when not at work? You will find me at Rush Cycle at least 3 times a week or shopping for candles. I love candles! 

The most rewarding part of your job: Meeting people from different walks of life and knowing that they are in goods hands when they sit at the bar. 

What is your favorite thing about Spring?
Crawfish season! I also love soaking up the sun by the pool or just being outside riding bikes with my family.

What do you love about Bartending? The fast-paced nights. Once you’re on a roll, there is no stopping!

What motivates you? My husband is my hype man, best friend, and the person who motivates me every day. He is so encouraging and supportive. He definitely makes my day when he makes an appearance at the bar.
