Roger’s Bar & Grill: Massive Venue Offering More Than 10,000 Square Feet Of Fun!
Dec 08, 2015 03:56PM ● By SCENE MAGAZINE STAFFRoger’s Bar & Grill, located at 1271 Deke Slayton Blvd. in League City, is a lively local hangout with a sports-theme décor. The venue is housed inside a hurricane proof two-story building that took three years to construct. It is this commitment to quality that is Roger’s Bar & Grill’s trademark.
The main bar area is equipped with 35 HDTVs and there are two 12-foot projection TVs, each in different rooms. Any seat is a great seat to watch the NFL package or college football games on the Longhorn Network.
Happy hour is Mondays through Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m. Enjoy a cold glass of one of the ten beers on tap with five of those being craft beer. Roger’s Bar & Grill presents live music Thursday through Saturday nights. On Saturday, December 19, the chart-topping country band The Posse will be taking the stage. The Posse has shared the stage with Kenny Chesney, Cory Morrow, Clint Black, Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee. And then on New Year’s Eve, Andy & the Dreamsicles will be ringing in the New Year right as they take the stage on Thursday, December 31. Drink responsibly and party local at Roger’s Bar & Grill.
Looking forward to Friday, January 22, 2016, don’t miss the great Dale Watson as he takes the stage for an unforgettable night of country music. Watson grew up in Pasadena, Texas, and now resides in Austin. He champions "Ameripolitan" as a new genre of original music and has positioned himself as a tattooed, stubbornly independent outsider who is interested in recording authentic country music.
As a result, he has become a favorite of critics and alt-country fans. Watson has performed multiple times at the Grand Ole Opry, Austin City Limits, on David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel, and at South By Southwest to name a few places.
In addition to live music, Roger’s Bar & Grill has an assortment of games including the latest and greatest Duck Hunter, numerous pool tables, and Golden Tee. Pick a lucky song from the internet jukebox and have some fun!
Let Roger’s Bar & Grill host your next personal or corporate event day or night. The venue is as nice as any hotel with three rooms that seat more than 100 people each. Call 281-334-1110 for more information.
But you don’t have to have a special occasion to delight in their American and Italian cuisine. The steak and burgers rival the pricier restaurants.
