Cabo Bar and Grill, located at 2513 NASA Parkway in Seabrook, will be bringing teams from local bars together under one roof to compete in Bar Wars. Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. from October 7 through December 9, the competition will consist of a three part challenge, including a series of questions and practical application. The team with the most points at the end of the night will be named the winner of the week.

Week 1 is sponsored by Bacardi. The three contenders are Timeout Sports Bars, Maribelle’s and Bakkhus Taverna. Each week the winning team will take home a $200 cash prize and advance to the semifinals on December 2 for double the cash. Also up for grabs is a weekly $200 cash prize for the bar/restaurant with the biggest turnout. Two teams from the semifinals will compete in the finals on December 9 where they will have a chance to claim themselves as the Bar Wars champions of Clear Lake, win big cash and suite tickets to a Texans game.
