Boogie, Blues & Brews Festival Returns for Year Two

The 2nd annual Boogie, Blues and Brews will take place over Houston's Bay Area September 20, 21 and 22, 2013. For three days, Boogie Blues and Brews will bring together the best of blues, country, zydeco and rockabillly from all over the region to Walter Hall Park.
This year's line up includes: "The Cajun Springsteen," Wayne Toups, soulful and kinetic Cody Canada & The Departed, gifted guitarist Eric Gales Band, Galveston native Hamilton Loomis,14-piece R&B band, Mambo Jazz Kings, Brian Jack & The Zydeco Gamblers, "Swamp Boogie Queen" Marcia Ball, headliners, Cowboy Mouth, and more.
Beyond the diverse lineup of some of the South's best talent, attendees will be able to enjoy specialty food trucks, an assortment of beers from the Draft Beer Garden, a variety of art and crafts vendors, a sweet tea competition and a Chili Cook Off, all in true Texan style. Located within the picturesque 86-acre park will be two stages for BBB's anticipated acts and an interactive Kid's Zone.
The amazing Kids Zone will feature foam pit parties, water boats, a rope course, interactive games with the Dynamos' street team, interactive session with The Highflyers USA jump rope team, powder paint parties and a host of more exhilarating children's activities to keep their spirits high.
Also new to this year's Boogie, Blues and Brews festival will be a Texas-sized tailgating party that Sunday. Festival goers can cheer the hometown team onto victory in the designated "Man Cave," all while 100.3 The Bull broadcasts live. The inaugural Boogie, Blues and Brews boasted more than 13,000 participants from all over the state with an expectation of attendance surpassing last year's event. Fans are encouraged to purchase Early Bird tickets for the entire weekend at only $20. Individual day passes are also available at the event website. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to non-profit organizations serving the Galveston County area: The Children's Center, Inc., The Independence Village and Toy for Tots.
