Sep 05, 2013 07:56PM ● By SCENE MAGAZINE STAFF
Cabo, a waterfront venue located at 2513 NASA Parkway in the heart of Seabrook, is ready for the NFL and NCAA football season with food and drinks specials and plenty of flat screen TVs.

There is not a bad seat in the house.

A special $5 NFL and NCAA food menu has been created and features Southwest eggrolls, pulled pork sliders, buffalo chicken sliders, wings, and fried pickles. Domestic and imported beer bucket specials are $15 and $18.

But Cabo isn’t stopping there…

It’s a “Kick Off To Football” bikini contest on Saturday, September 21 hosted along with Bikini Open Promotions. The first round is sexy football fan gear and the second round is swimwear.

No competition suits required, only college or pro team or liquor or beer themed suits are allowed. Contestants are encouraged to be original! This contest is open to those 18 and older. Call Bikini Open Promotions at 713-366-9445 for more details or to enter. Blue Finger Disco from Austin will be providing the musical entertainment.

Cabo is a premier place to unwind, let loose, and just have a good time any day of the week. Enjoy live music seven days a week with the best cover bands, acoustic music and DJs in Texas. Mama Tried is on stage each Monday night AFTER the NFL game, the talented Danny Lopez and the Rickwads every Tuesday night. Whiskey Picks and Beggars Inc. usher in Hump Day and Obsolete August performs on Thursday nights. Check The SCENE Magazine for the full weekend schedule upstairs and at the downstairs beach bar. Bands like The Slags and Falskye are on the rotation and singer songwriters such as Chris J. Hardy, David Grace, and Jared Waggoner perform at the beach bar.

Arrive by car or boat. It doesn’t matter how you get to Cabo, just get there and go A.W.O.L.

The term “A.W.O.L.” (After Work On the Lake) has become more than a battle cry on Fridays. A.W.O.L. has become the much appreciated transition from the work week to the weekend. Unwind with one of the entertaining amenities such as: ping pong, giant Jenga, pool tables, darts, electronic games, or the shuffleboard table.

Have fun with the games, enjoy the generous happy hour specials, and order something tasty from the kitchen. The specials abound! Monday nights offers 35 cent wings. On Tuesday nights, it’s $2 tacos. On Wednesdays, enjoy $5 Cabo burgers. Thursday nights are hot and juicy, made-to-order steak nights.

Enjoy your meal at the bar, at a table inside or outside on the deck. CABO has abundant outdoor seating. It’s a beautiful site watching the water and boats, and the gorgeous sunset. The atmosphere immediately draws you into camaraderie with other like-minded folks.

Cheer on your favorite team at Cabo, and be sure to tell them The SCENE sent you!
