Beginning Thursday, May 23, Scout Bar will be hosting the Girls Of Summer Bikini Contest. The outdoor temperatures will be no match for the ladies competing inside in this contest. Let’s hope that Scout Bar, located at 18307 Egret Bay Boulevard in Webster, doesn’t melt from within.

The weekly winners will be selected by a panel of judges made up of local personalities and sponsors. The top two contestants will win a total of $500 cash prize money. Also, the top winner will advance to the final round on Thursday, August 29 in hopes of winning the coveted “Ms. Scout Bar” title along with a cash prize totaling $1,500. Ladies, just think about what you could do with that extra money… The second place winner can compete again in hopes to land the coveted number one spot.

Registration will be held after Scout Bar opens each day of the contest. To participate, a contestant must be at least 18 years old, and compete in two rounds wearing “club dress” first and then “bikini attire.”

The contest is being held in conjunction with local business Bikini Open Promotions.

The best local bands will be performing before, in between, and after the competition rounds.  A hot night needs cool drink specials, so Scout Bar offers a $2 DOS XX beer, $2 Big Ass Beer, and well drink specials all night. No cover for 21 and up.

Please note there will not be a contest held on Thursday, July 18. Even though the contest has a week off, you can still stop in and watch Arizona’s ska/punk band Authority Zero’s energy-fueled concert powered by more than 20,000 watts of audio...

Scout Bar is a multi-venue rock/dance club that features a wide variety of cover bands, local, regional, and national musical artists. Regular hours of operation are Wednesday through Sunday, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. The Green Room, a club within a club, features dance videos and DJs spinning the best in '80s, house, hip-hop and high energy music. On Sunday nights, Scout Bar showcases local and state-wide talent as it hosts The Texas Buzz Show.
