That’s right, if you don’t have your costume ready, what are you waiting for? Here are listings of local hangouts with more treats than tricks ready to celebrate the kid in you in full Halloween style.
Fatty’s Sports Bar: Halloween party on Saturday, October 27. Abraham’s Tree take the stage. Costume contest will offer the first place winner a $125 prize. Second place gets a $75 prize. Score! Signature Bistro: Bistro Monster Bash. Wear a costume, get a free gift! Appetizer specials. DJ and dancing 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. No cover.
Scout Bar: Wednesday, Oct 31: Live Music from Erase The Virus, Born From Ruins, & Hellsouth; $2 Drafts All Night; costume contest with cash and prizes starts at 11:40 p.m.; 21+ FREE; $10 for 18 and up.
Bakkhus Taverna: Wednesday, October 31. Beware of the 5th Annual Halloween Bash co-sponsored by Red Bull. Tables will be cleared out to make way for the dance floor and DJ. Spirit promotions. Costume contest.
Latitudes: Saturday, Oct. 27 celebrate Hallow's eve with live music, drink specials, jello shots, costume contest cash prizes, and all kinds of fun games and things to do!
Union Tavern: Wednesday, Oct. 31: Halloween bash and costume contest. No cover.
Jackie’s Brickhouse: Two-day Halloween event on Friday, Oct. 26: There will be an employee contest. The winner gets $200. And on Saturday, Oct. 27, customers compete for best-in categories: Scariest Costume; Sexiest Costume; Best Original Costume; Best Couple winners get $200.
Pier 27: Saturday, Oct. 20 bring the your little pumpkins out for Per 27's Kids Halloween Party from 1 to 4 p.m. Then on Saturday, Oct. 27: Gather all ye booty for the 4th Annual Pirates Ball. Contest for the best dressed, best couple, scariest and most original costumes.
Sam’s Boat: 3rd Annual Halloween party on Saturday, Oct. 27 with $2 Blood, bloody mary specials all day, and $3 vampire blood shots.
Club Pride: On Halloween Weekend report for duty at the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" Theme Party. On Friday, Oct. 26: Boy Bar. On Saturday, Oct. 27: Her Bar. Wear your costumes. Wednesday, Oct. 31: Scaryoke contest and costume contest. Win prizes. Smoking permitted inside. $5 cover on Fridays and Saturdays only.
Zone 504: Saturday, Oct. 27: Halloween Costume Contest and Party with After Party Roxx, featuring Heather of Peroxide. Bucket and shot specials all night. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Never a Cover Charge!
Sherlock’s: Halloween Party on Wednesday, Oct. 31 with live music by Fal Skye. Big Beer specials all night long. Costume Contest with $500 in prizes. No cover.
Cock-Eyed Seagull: Saturday, Oct. 27, Hourglass will host the Halloween party and costume contest. Winners for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for best costume. On Wednesday, Oct. 31, it's a "Thriller Dress Up Party" with Karaoke.
Katie’s: Saturday, Oct. 27, Scott McGill hosts Halloween Party. Cabo: On Saturday, Oct. 27, Swagger hosts Cabo's Halloween party. Sign up before 10 p.m. for the costume contest with cash prizes. No Cover!!
Casper's: The weekend prior to Halloween, Casper's will be hosting the Ladies OB Cue Championship Tourney. Come out to this all-day event, enjoy some lunch or dinner and watch how these champion ladies shoot 9 ball. $2 longneck domestics all day. Local ladies can join and are invited to OB Cue League and play in second chance tournament on Sunday. Wear your costume get 10% off food purchase. Different drink specials throughout night. No cover.
Marine Max: Hull-O-Ween Poker Run starts at Saturday, October 20 starting at 11 a.m. with stops throughout the area to collect chips and cards. Final stop is back at Marine Max Seabrook to draw the final two cards. After party includes prizes, food and more. Pre-register by emailing [email protected]. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Captain's meeting. Cost is $10 to attend (includes shirt). $25 per hand or $100 for five hands.
The Hop: Halloween bash on Saturday, Oct. 27. $1000 costume contest and drink specials all night.
Noah’s Ark Restaurant: Halloween Party is Friday, Oct. 26 with live music from Time in a Bottle.
Big Ben: Wednesday, Oct. 31: Halloween party and costume contest. Live music. Compete to win cash and prizes.
Paint Pub: Have a howling good time any of these dates: Oct. 7 (2pm) Ghostling’s Family Day Paint Session, $25 per painter; Oct. 14 (2pm) Spooky & Boo Family Day Paint Session, $25 per painter; Oct. 21 (6pm) The Scream Paint Session, $35 per painter.
La Brisa League City: Thursday, October 25 introduces our 2nd Annual "Day of the Dead" Extravaganza featured by Jose Cuervo from 7 to 11 p.m. Black and White Attire. "Dress to Impress" What to Expect: Jose Cuervo Gold, Silver, Trad Reposado and Trad Silver cocktails. Photo Booth. Day of the Dead spectacular face painting Specialty Horderves & Treats Giveaways and LOTS OF FUN!! On October 31, we will have an employee halloween contest. ("Day of the Dead" History: A holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world, among many cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. Celebrate with us at La Brisa as we continue this tradition yearly in honoring the Day of the Dead!)
