Salute to Services – Kemah’s Wounded Warrior

Nov 20, 2010 05:16PM ● By Andy Eng
OVER THE TOP - Over Veteran's Day weekend, we hung out at Kemah's Wounded Warrior, Salute to Services. We witnessed plenty of joy at the fishing tournament headed up by David Kendrick. The music organized by Galen Medlinka was waaaaay over the top and included Wood & Wind, Devine Rhythm United Motion (D.R.U.M.), The Navigators, and Sheila Marshall. We've mentioned before catching inspired live performances often at benefits when playing for a cause--This weekend's cause brought out, to our ears, the utmost of inspired integrity these ears have ever heard. Thanks to all of the volunteers, bands, donors, and sponsors, Twas better than best.... Tis the season--Get merry, Get jolly!
